Social Impact Division

The Social Impact Division of Sourish De Cosmopolitan Foundation exists to stand where society forgets to look. It was built on a simple belief: real change does not begin in conference rooms, it begins in streets, villages, shelters, slums, schools, and forgotten corners where pain is normal and help is rare. This division works at the grassroots, where compassion is not an idea but a daily responsibility. We do not wait for perfect systems. We step into broken ones and try to heal them with courage, discipline, and heart.

Our Focus Areas

This division focuses on five core areas: community upliftment, animal welfare, social welfare, awareness drives, and grassroots impact work. These are not separate missions—they are connected. When an animal is rescued, a child learns empathy. When a family is supported, a community becomes stronger. When awareness spreads, cruelty reduces. Everything we do is tied to one vision: shaping tomorrow with compassion.

Flagship Program: Animal Welfare

Animal welfare is the heartbeat of our Social Impact Division. It is where our philosophy, "Shaping tomorrow with Compassion," is tested every single day. Animals feel pain, hunger, fear, loneliness, and abandonment just like humans do, but they cannot speak for themselves. They cannot ask for help, demand justice, or explain their suffering. They depend entirely on the conscience of humans.

For us, animal welfare is not charity and not emotion alone—it is responsibility. It is the belief that every life has value, even when it brings no reward, no recognition, and no benefit except the quiet knowledge that something wrong was made a little right.

We rescue injured, abandoned, and abused animals from streets, drains, highways, garbage dumps, accident sites, and violent situations. We provide emergency first aid, surgeries, medicines, and long-term treatment. We run feeding drives for street dogs, cats, cattle, and other neglected animals. We support shelters and independent caregivers who fight alone with limited resources and little recognition.

We stand against cruelty not only by reacting to it, but by trying to prevent it through awareness, education, and community responsibility. Our work is not glamorous. It is raw, heavy, exhausting, and deeply human. We do not rescue for photographs. We do not rescue for praise. We rescue because a life is worth saving even when no one is watching.

Community Upliftment

Community upliftment is about dignity before charity. We work with families, youth, women, and elders in underserved communities to support education, basic needs, skill awareness, health awareness, and social confidence. We help children stay in school, guide youth toward purpose, support families during crisis, and stand with communities during disasters and hardships.

We believe people do not need sympathy—they need opportunity. Every program we run in communities is designed to restore confidence, not create dependency.

Social Welfare

Social welfare focuses on people who are struggling silently—the elderly, children at risk, families in crisis, the homeless, and those who fall through the cracks of systems. We support food drives, clothing distribution, medical help, emergency relief, and basic survival needs. But more than material help, we offer presence. Sometimes what heals most is knowing someone has not forgotten you.

Awareness Drives

Change cannot survive without awareness. We conduct awareness drives on kindness, animal protection, social responsibility, mental health sensitivity, hygiene, education, and coexistence. We believe awareness is the seed of transformation. When people understand, they change. When they change, society moves forward.

Grassroots Impact Work

Grassroots impact work means we work where systems are weakest and voices are smallest. We partner with local leaders, volunteers, caregivers, and communities. We listen before we act. We build slowly, honestly, and sustainably. We do not impose solutions—we grow them with people.
